About

Looking Glass Care Ltd provides clear, structured documentation and paperwork tools for UK care providers. We focus on helping providers organise policies, procedures, and supporting documents in a way that is practical, consistent, and easy to manage.

Our work is centred on documentation only. We create and supply editable paperwork packs, templates, and organisational tools designed to support care providers preparing for registration, inspection, or internal review.

Looking Glass Care does not provide regulated care services, legal advice, or application submission. Responsibility for implementation and compliance remains with the care provider.

All products and services are delivered digitally, with fixed pricing and clear scope, allowing providers to access structured documentation support without consultancy or ongoing commitments.

About Looking Glass Care

Compliance is fundamental to delivering holistic, person-centred support in all care settings. When applied properly, it safeguards not only the people using services, but also staff — creating clarity, consistency, and a positive, functional environment for everyone involved.

At Looking Glass Care Ltd, we specialise in supporting domiciliary, supported living, and residential care providers to achieve and maintain inspection-ready status. We do this through clear, robust policies, procedures, and CQC registration documentation that accurately reflect how services operate in practice.

Our work is led by experienced compliance managers and enhanced by AI-assisted workflows, allowing us to deliver high-quality, tailored documentation efficiently, without losing the depth or accuracy that regulators expect. We do not provide regulated care services — our role is to support providers with the systems and paperwork that underpin safe, effective care.

Experience-Led, Not Template-Driven

What sets Looking Glass Care apart is the combination of over 15 years of hands-on operational experience with modern, adaptable approaches to compliance. Our lead manager has managed supported living, community-based services, and outreach provision, and has worked across a wide range of settings including residential homes, day services, hospitals, secure environments, and custodial settings.

This depth of experience ensures that the documentation we produce is practical, proportionate, and grounded in reality, rather than generic or overly theoretical.

Our Approach

Our work is informed by training in recognised crisis prevention and behaviour support frameworks, including PROACT-SCIPr, MAPA, PRICE, and TIMIAN. We operate from the principle that all behaviour is a form of communication, and that strong leadership, clear systems, and well-designed policies are central to reducing risk and distress.

Alongside operational expertise, we bring an external, reflective perspective shaped by lived experience within and alongside mental health services. This insight supports our approach to Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), sensory-aware strategies, and thoughtful problem-solving.

Support Beyond Documentation

While our services focus firmly on adult care provision and CQC compliance, we also recognise the value of an informed, independent viewpoint. We listen carefully, ask the right questions, and offer measured, practical suggestions to help teams, managers, and organisations navigate complex situations with confidence and compassion.

If you would like to discuss your service, your registration, or your compliance needs, we invite you to book a free consultation to explore how Looking Glass Care can support you.
