About Looking Glass Care
Get to Know Us
Looking Glass Care supports families, parents and carers as well as adult social care providers and organisations in England. It grew from more than 15 years of experience across care, safeguarding, behaviour, compliance and support for children, adults, families and services. Too often, people and organisations receive minimal, generic support that does not address what is really happening. Our personal mission is to offer something more useful: respectful, practical support shaped around the individual, family or business. We listen first, identify the real priority and tailor the review, resource, training or action plan to the outcome you need. For organisations, our CQC work is focused on England.

How we can help
Families, parents and carers
We help organise EHCP evidence, prepare for school meetings and annual reviews, and identify reasonable adjustments. Support can include reviewing documents, building a clear chronology, analysing incidents and helping you explain the needs, outcomes and support you are asking for.
Care planning, behaviour support and the Williamson Method
The Williamson Method is our practical framework for understanding behaviour as communication, identifying unmet needs and improving quality of life. It brings person-centred planning, PBS, incident learning and review together to reduce avoidable distress and unnecessary restriction.
Care providers and organisations in England
We support CQC readiness, policy creation and review, care documentation, risk assessments, safer recruitment, staff compliance and governance. Evidence reviews, audit tools and improvement planning help managers identify gaps, organise records and connect written procedures with day-to-day care.
Training, policies and digital resources
Online learning covers care practice, safeguarding, autism, SEND, management and compliance. Editable policies, evidence builders, meeting packs and audit toolkits support learning and practical follow-through. Individual courses and downloads are available. Learning subscriptions are awaiting launch checks; each listing explains current access and what is included.
Employers, employees and Care Shifts (VMS)
Employer learning and Care Shifts are awaiting launch checks. Planned learning costs £19/month for one organisation and up to 10 named staff, plus a one-off £10 per new staff account. Standard courses are included while the subscription is active and paid; larger teams need a quote. VMS subscriptions and automated agency payments are also awaiting launch. Book a free 15-minute demo to explore the planned workflow.
Community and continuing learning
Our blog and forum provide space to explore care, SEND, workforce and compliance topics, share questions and connect learning with relevant resources. They complement personalised support and help people find a useful starting point.
Experience and our approach
Looking Glass Care draws on 15 years of care experience, a First-class degree in Youth & Community Work and Level 3 Health & Social Care. We listen to your priorities, consider the evidence and shape support around your family or organisation. Start with a free 30-minute consultation to discuss what you need; paid service bookings start from £35.

Mission
Our mission is to help families, parents and carers secure clearer, more person-centred support, and to help adult care providers in England strengthen the systems behind safe, respectful care. We respond to the person or organisation in front of us rather than offering minimal, generic support. Every review, resource, training option and action plan is tailored to the real need and desired outcome. Clear evidence and documentation protect people, guide staff, strengthen accountability and support CQC readiness in England.

Vision
Our vision is a care sector where every person receives safe, compassionate and genuinely person-centred support.
We believe compliance should strengthen care delivery, documentation should reflect real practice, and providers should feel organised and inspection-ready.
We aim to be trusted documentation and compliance partners, bridging regulatory expectations and operational reality.
